Joseph Christoferson:
Houston, Texas- I recently purchased a 21’ CAT with
a 200 Hp ETEC. You can not go wrong with this boat; it
gives new meaning to the term skinny. My fishing friends
nicknamed it the CATILLAC but I call it Shoal-Nuff. I
bought mine from Gander Mountain; ask for Andrew or Pam
they will set you up. Hats off to Shoalwater.
Marcus, Portland TX - I
got a test ride at the corpus boat show on the 19 cat
and it was very smooth for the conditions and ran so
shallow its scary keep up the good boat building.
Charles aka Melon -
New owner of a 19'cat....Not only does this boat look
sleek it is! Runs skinny and fast. Handles the chop
pretty well too for a skinny boat. Gotta hand it to boys
at shoalwater. You guys really ROCK when comes to
building boats. One more I need to add.The service from
the guys has been outstanding. Like a budy once
said.......Once you cat? You never go back! Thanks Gene
and crew!
John Nounes - Omega Bay
Texas- I purchased a shallow cat 14' 5, this boat is
awesome i opted for the 75 horse e-tec. Very impressed
run in 4 inches maybe 3. I have owned three boats and
this boat is perfect. thanks shoalwater for making one
HELL OF A BOAT. Couldn't be more satisfied.
Danny Rodriguez: I
own a flats 18 this boat is a keeper I can run in 6" of
water easy its equipped with a 90 H.P Nissan with a
shallow blaster and high performance Flats Jac jack
plate this boat has been thru some very shallow runs and
caught alot of nice reds, trouts & drums I also
installed a motor guide trolling motor 82 lbs thrust I
highly recommend these boats if you purchase or thinking
of buying one you will be very satisfied !
I was very impressed with a friend
of mines Shoalwater this past weekend. It was my first
time ever on one. I am buying one this week! The boat
planed in 4" of water with 2 300lb men and on the way
back in with 4 guys and 1 lab ran in 2-4" of water/ mud
after the Northwind had blown the water out of the
channel back to a private boat launch. You know its
shallow when your spraying mud instead of water! What a
boat!
Bought a 14.5 cat about six months ago and have loaded
it up with fish several times since then. Whether I am
by myself or with my buddies, it runs super shallow and
is great on gas mileage. Still performs well with 4
adults and a full grown Labrador retriever onboard!
Wouldn't change a thing, except for maybe the distance
between me and the nearest boat ramp!
Mike Graham "Flyfisherman" - Bought a 14.5 Cat
almost five years ago now. Fantastic boat, will run in
4" w/o jack plate and I can jump it in 10". Poles and
tracks very well and out turns almost everything out
there! Steve built mine with a HUGH storage area under
the console, eliminating all clutter on the deck. Great
alternative to the costly Florida Skiff market. 50Hp
pushes it at 32mph all day long and uses very little
gas! If you can't beat'um - join'um!!!
Scott and Trudie Terreo - We bought a 21 CAT at the
boat show in Houston. We have been amazed at the things
this boat will do. We have ran in 4-6" and got up in 8"
with 3/4 tank and 3 people on board. The front deck is
great to fly fish off of. The drift is very controllable
too. Best investment we ever made. The only thing I
don't like is that I did not get one sooner.
Brian
Tullis-I have the 17 Sport, has a V hull. Dry ride,
runs shallow and has been a great boat. I have owned it
since 2000. Guys at Shoalwater have been great to work
with over the years and have helped me with all my
needs.
Alan Bennett -
Looking for an economical go anywhere littie fish'n rig?
Then go for the 14.5 Cat, I did & I love it. Fish all
day on 8 gallons,& I don't mean wading all day. Easy for
one person to handle. Great little boat for the back
bays.
I
just recently bought a 22' Legend down here in Charlotte
Harbor Florida and I love it. I run a fishing charter
down here as well as fish several tournaments and this
boat has a for sure advantage. I have honestly run this
boat in less than 4" for some pretty long distances to
get out of spots!!! I can plane in less than 12" all
day long with three customers onboard. It also floats
in about 8" so I can still get on tailers. She poles
very nice. Anyway, can't say enough!!!

Jason
Carruth- Recently moved up to the 21' Cat after
previously owning two of the 19'Tunnel V's. This will be
my last boat... unless they can improve on perfection.
Hands down the best shallow water boat on the market,
this baby does it all, peroid. Go test one and I'll
think you will agree.
Capt.
Lawrence Bernal. - This is my third 19v and all of them
were great! I'm going to keep this one, it's powered by
a Johnson 115 two stroke runs about 38.9 mph and its
smooth, dry and shallow. these are very solid boats you
want find a better rig out there together with Steve
Bell's service and quality it's a winning combination
this guy always answers the phone or promptly returns
your calls. you owe it to yourself go out and get
one!!!! or two!.
AWESOME BOAT, GOES
SHALLOW, TAKES THE ROUGH STUFF, AND LOOKS SHARP, WHAT
ELSE CAN A MAN ASK FOR. TOP IT OFF WITH GOOD SERVICE AND
THERE AIN'T NO FINER BOAT ON THE COAST.
